I am the founder of Helping Her, a non-profit organization located in Baltimore City . As a mom of 2 I was once a young mommy in need which fuels my passion to empower other mommy’s in need. The goal is to establish a pantry that not only provides baby essentials, feminine products, household needs but also offer resources such as professional development and job readiness services aimed at fostering self-sufficiency and empowerment among moms facing adversity

I proudly hail from Saluda, SC. Currently, I serve as the Director of Career and Student Success, overseeing Accessibility Services at Columbia College in Columbia, SC. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of South Carolina Aiken and a Master’s Degree in Higher Education Administration from Columbia College, along with several certifications.

Throughout my decade-long career in higher education, I've focused on serving diverse groups, including DI Athletics, veterans, international students, young families, and students with disabilities. My passion lies in advocating for accessibility, public health, family development, and educational growth. I also coordinate campus and community programs aimed at fostering success and improving quality of life.

In addition to my professional commitments, I’m an active member of the community, involved with organizations such as the NAACP, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and the University of South Carolina Aiken Black Alumni. When I’m not working or volunteering, I love attending sporting events and creating cherished memories with my daughters, Jaliah, who is 15, and Michaela, who is 5.

I am a LPN, Doula, and CMA. With nearly two decades of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse, I’ve dedicated my career to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to those in need. In addition to my nursing expertise, I’m also a certified Full Spectrum Doula and Midwife Assistant, which allows me to offer a unique and holistic approach to healthcare.

My true passion lies in family-centered care. I strive not only to heal my clients, physical ailments but also to nurture their emotional well-being. I’m always looking for opportunities to expand my knowledge and skills to ensure I provide the highest quality of care. It’s an honor for me to be a trusted source of support for individuals and families during their most vulnerable moments.
